She should be grateful that everything had been blissfully normal for once, a glimpse into what should have been her life. Haunted houses, slow dances, laughter - pure and simple normality. It hurt more than it should have, but Wonderland seemed to excel at doing that to her - reminding her of things she'd never have even if it was something as stupid as prom.
